Dimensions

Origin: Native to East Asia, I'm prized for my glossy, holly-like fronds.

Light: Provide bright, indirect light to partial shade. I thrive in filtered sunlight or dappled shade, making me perfect for indoor or shaded outdoor spaces.

Humidity: I appreciate moderate to high humidity levels.

Watering: Keep my soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.

Soil: Plant me in well-draining, acidic soil with plenty of organic matter.

Fertilization: Feed me with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing in winter when growth slows.

Pruning: Remove dead or browned fronds at the base to encourage new growth.

Propagation: I can be propagated by division. Carefully separate the rhizomes or clumps and plant them in separate pots with well-draining soil.

Pests/Diseases: I'm relatively pest and disease-resistant, but watch out for pests like scale insects or spider mites. Treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap.
