Another one of our landscaping favourites, this boy is an amazing specimen plant that grows into a beautiful mound shape.

Looks great as a feature plant, or planted en masse. We also love to plant this at the base of potted palms to amp up the tropical feel.

Copes with most situations except full blasting sun and dry, excellent for indoors too, we love this guy!

Care information

Origin: Native to Brazil, I thrive in warm, tropical climates.

Light: Bright, indirect light is perfect for me, but I can tolerate some shade.

Watering: Keep my soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.

Soil: Plant me in a well-draining potting mix with plenty of organic matter.

Fertilization: Feed me with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).

Propagation: I can be propagated by stem cuttings. Simply plant the cuttings in a potting medium like spagnum moss and keep them moist until they root.

Pests/Diseases: Watch out for pests like spider mites and scale insects. Treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap.
